Spring 2022
This class was created for deep dives into ‘sticky’ business problems. Self-directed research, voluminous solutioning and group-facilitated exercises which led to multiple solutions for Sam’s Club stakeholders for the specific categories of Wine and Pets. The result was a dynamic exploration of difficult challenges using the Design Thinking framework and a final presentation to Sams Club Executives.
SPDA3221, a workshop class taught by Dr. Clinton Purtell is taught in tandem with SPDA3220 to explore outside resources through guest speakers, connect with our project partner, Jonathan Saffian, who reviewed student work and presentations on an almost weekly basis.
